In need of PBs and... I have no idea who in this will actually show up or be important, but have a cast list.

Cora Russel: She is the daughter of Death, though at the start of the story, all she knows is that her father went missing five months ago, on Halloween, and she has no idea what happened. She's never known her mother, who took off before Cora's first birthday, but she and her father were always close, and his disappearence has been hard on her.
Quiet, observant, and intelligent, Cora has led a sheltered life. She went to college and got a job in the same city she grew up in, only moved about ten minutes away from her father, and has had mostly the same friends since she was in grade school. She likes being outdoors and reading, and spends a lot of time by herself, though she does love her friends dearly.
PB: Amanda Seyfried

Megan Bird, the Lady of Minds: She runs the bookshop Cora has frequented since a child, and is an old friend of their family, with a giant soft spot for Cora. She's also the personification of knowledge and thoughts. She and Todd have been friends for a long, long time, and when he needed to settle down to raise his daughter, he choose to do so near where Megan has settled. It's Megan who explains to Cora what her father is, and who first sets her on her joruney to get him back.

Allison Bird, the Princess of Choices: Megan's daughter, Allison was born in the other realm and is much more familiar with the truth about their respective parents than Cora is. She is tied to opinions. She and Cora are old friends, and when Megan sends Cora on her way to the other realm, Allison chooses to go with her and lend her whatever help she can.
PB: Jennifer Carpenter

Todd Russel, the Lord of Bones: The personification of Death, and Cora's father. He loves his daughter dearly, and though he loves his court as well, he chose to raise her in the mortal realm for reasons even Megan hasn't been given. His being pulled into his home realm is the start of everything.

Nat, Prince of Coffins: One of the Lord of Bones' court, he is tied to graves. He chooses to help Cora and Allison on their search for the Lord of Bones. It's been a long time since he has seen his Lord, and finding out he's been pulled into the realm against his will only serves to worry him more.
PB: Matthew Goode

Ina, Princess of Ghosts: One of the Lord of Bones' court, she is the ruler of ghosts. She is the daughter of the Lord of Bones and the Lady of Breath, and she moves between their courts, but tends to claim allegience to her father first. She cares for her father, but is much less worried than Nat about his disappearence; still, she decides to help them through the three courts.
PB: Emilie De Ravin

Prince of Waste: One of the Lord of Bones' court, he is tied to decay.

Lady of Blood: The personification of life. She, the Lord of Blood, and the Lady of Breath work closely together, their three courts tied and easy to pass between. She appears to be open and helpful, but she keeps more secrets and holds more grudges than she seems to, and getting on her bad side is a very bad idea.
PB: Gina Torres

Prince of Tongues: One of the Lady of Blood's court, he is tied to the sense of taste.

Princess of Eyes: One of the Lady of Blood's court, she is tied to the sense of sight.

Princess of Sound: One of the Lady of Blood's court, she is tied to the sense of hearing.

Prince of Skin: One of the Lady of Blood's court, he is tied to the sense of touch.

Prince of Scent: One of the Lady of Blood's court, he is tied to the sense of smell.

Vana, Lady of Breath: The personification of the soul. She appears just as open as the Lady of Blood, and she is actually as open as she seems. She cannot cross as easily between courts as a Prince or someone unaffiliated with other courts can, or she would have joined Cora on her journey; as it is, she does her best to offer help whenever she can.

Princess of Sparks: One of the Lady of Breath's courts, she is tied to emotion. She is also close to the Lady of Minds, or was, when she was in the realm. She is often the one sent to help Cora, Allison and Nat, since, as a Princess, she can cross realms more easily than her Lady, but she's slightly more wary of them than her Lady is.
PB: Anne Hathaway

Lady of Tricks: The personification of mischief. She will help when she's asked, but be careful with how you ask, because she'll often give you exactly what you said. She's also under a curse, and enlists Cora and co's help to try to break it before it comes into effect.
PB: Catherine Tate

Princess of Play: One of the Lady of Tricks' court and her daughter, she is tied to playful mischief and pleasant tricks.
PB: Judith Bedard

Princess of Traps: One of the Lady of Tricks' court and her daughter, she is tied to malicious mischief. She and the Princess of Play are twins.
PB: Judith Bedard

Lord of Bargains: The personification of deals and bargains. He and the Lady of Tricks are siblings. He will also help you when he's asked, but you'll owe him for it. Normally he would be harder on Cora and co, but because he's worried about his sister's curse, he offers them more help than he would anyone else.
PB: Stephen Campbell Moore

Lady of Snow: Some still know her as the Lady of Winter, but she prefers this name. The personification of winter. She and the other seasons are siblings, and their courts are closely tied together. She doesn't speak, and she doesn't forget. She'll help those she thinks are worthy of it, but her help isnt always easy to spot.

Lord of Summer: The personification of summer. He is loud and overbearing, but he's willing to give whatever information or advice he's asked for -- although he tends to listen too closely to gossip, so not everything he shares is helpful.

Lady of Spring: The personification of spring. She is as loud as the Lord of Summer, and occasionally harsh, but she doesn't mean to be. She is the youngest sibling, and very much acts like the baby of the group. She's emotional, and if you can make her feel for you she's happy to help, but she's far from subtle.

Lord of Autumn: The personification of autumn. All the subtelty the Lady of Spring lacks seems to have been transferred to him. He is just as emotional as she is, but he hides it better, and when he does choose to help, you might not know it was him. He is quiet, though not as much as the Lady of Snow, and generally welcoming. He is the oldest of the siblings.

Lady of Clocks: The personification of time. She is a contradiction, changing moment by moment: Sometimes flighty and flakey, sometimes moving so fast she's a blur, sometimes wise, sometimes slow and near motionless. She will help if you catch her in the right moment, but she's hard to appeal to, and tends to prefer to wait for time to heal things.

Prince of Moments: One of the Lady of Clocks' court, he is tied to seconds.

Lady of Shadows: The personification of darkness, metaphorical and physical. She is the Lady of Rays' lover, and softer than her wife. She is gentle, and caring, but it's all hidden under a blankness and hard to see until you get to know her. Get in her good graces and she will take care of you for the rest of your life. Get in her bad books, and you will fear the shadows for the rest of your life.

Lady of Rays: The personification of light, metaphorical and physical. She is harsher than her wife, the Lady of Shadows, prone to quick-changing moods and fast judgements. Her wife can get her to listen and change her mind, but otherwise, she will decide how she feels about you quickly and stubbornly hold to that judgement.

Lord of Sleep: The personification of dreams. He is the Lord of both good dreams and bad, of restless sleeps and deep ones, of anything to do with the realm of sleep. He will show you what you need to see, but you may not be pleased with what you've been shown, or understand it.

Princess of Haunts: The Lord of Sleep's daughter and one of his court, she is tied to nightmares.
PB: Bridget Regan

Lord of Edges: The personification of pain. If you can deal with pain, handle it and accept it -- not neccesarily enjoy, but accept it as a part of life -- you will have an ally in him. He will point you on the paths you need to take, but they often won't be pleasant or easy.

Lord of Hearts: The personification of love, all kind of love and all kinds of lust. He prefers to stay out of things, but those who feel deeply about the ones they care for may find a friend in him.

Di, the Princess of Roots: One of the Lord of Hearts' court, she is tied to familial love, and thus takes a liking to Cora and Nat when they wander through their court. (As far as she is concerned, the love of a member of the court for their Lord or Lady is familial as well.)
PB: Haley Bennett

Princess of Sweat: One of the Lord of Hearts' court, she is tied to lust and sex.

Prince of Cords: One of the Lord of Hearts' court, he is tied to marriage.
